Today was the first day of the new 2016-2017 school year.  The day went great and I am looking forward to the rest of the week.  The periods seemed to fly by as I introduced myself using my favorite numbers smart presentation.  Students then started brainstorming their favorite numbers and will complete their posters on Wednesday.  I sent home a syllabus with all my information and sites students can sign up for.  Hope their parents are able to join.  I will try my best all year to add lessons, videos and important information for class here, in Edmodo, and take screen shots for Instagram.  I might even post some great sites on Twitter.  I will use Edmodo and this Blog the most.  I would love feedback on how the post are helping and what I could do differently or add to make Edmodo and this Blog more beneficial for students and parents.  Hope all my parents are able to join remind by texting @gmath78 to 81010 and can sign up for the Edmodo group using the code wucwyz at www.edmodo.com or the link www.edmodo.com/home#/join/y3gugt . Until next time..... Gators Rock!

Symbaloo for my Classroom

I created this Symbaloo several years ago to access web sites quickly.  I have now found my way back to the site and plan to use it in my classes this year.  I also hope to help students create their own Symbaloo.  This is a short blog to show everyone what I have been up to.  Hope to start blogging about my new school year and to share experiences from this year.  Three years is to long to be away!
